Think of men in leather jackets in the movies and it surely won’t be too long before you think of Keanu Reeves in one of his most acclaimed roles as Neo in The 1999 film The Matrix. Featured on the movie poster and DVD cover, Reeves as Neo in his long black leather coat is one of cinema’s most iconic images.

For those few people out there that don’t know the plot of The Matrix, or who need a refresher here’s a reminder! Reeves is Thomas A. Anderson – a man who lives two lives. During the day he’s just another computer programmer but by night he is a computer hacker who goes by the name of Neo. When Neo is contacted by Laurence Fishburne’s Morpheus, a legendary hacker who has been dubbed a terrorist by the government, he finds himself targeted by the police. However Morpheus shows Neo the world as it really is – a desolate wasteland where most people have been overtaken by a mechanical race that survives on human body heat and electrochemical energy. The humans’ minds are incarcerated in an artificial reality called The Matrix and now it’s Neo’s job to return to The Matrix and to confront the powerful agents who have but one goal: to destroy Neo and his fellow human rebels.
