Captain America The Winter Soldier Blue Leather Jacket

The new Captain America The Winter Soldier is currently out in cinema’s, even if you are not a marvel fan, you will surely enjoy this movie.  It has great special effects and the cgi is amazing.  This is one of the best sequels that marvel has come up with.

The new and improved Captain America costume is pretty cool too, the color is a little similar to Man Of Steel Superman.  The suit seems to be padded to add to the build of Chris Evans.

We are working on our version of the Captain America The Winter Soldier Blue Leather Jacket.  This leather jacket will be crafted from soft sheepskin genuine leather, the shoulders and arms will be slightly padded.  Its a little difficult to get all the ribbing done, so we will stitch in the ribbings on the leather jacket.

Leather Madness has come up with a prototype for Captain America The Winter Soldier Leather Jacket but we are not happy with it.  We used a leather and stretchable jersey material for the abs but it didnt turn out as expected so we are back to the drawing board.  Probably going to go with a complete leather jacket, all parts leather.  We will use mesh leather on the abs to give the same effect.  I think the pattern master should have something for us by the end of the week and then to cut and stitch it will only take a couple of days.

This prototype comes with a lot of disappointment, there are symmetrical issues in the jacket, the quality of the leather, the padding, the design as well as it is inaccurate. Hopefully our second prototype will be a winner.  We are expecting it to be ready by Monday 14th April 2014.  I will keep you posted on this blog.  Check back in a few days.
